LIGHT OF TRUTH

Jesus Christ was sent to salvage 
Those who think they're separate from God, 
Who dis-associate themselves 
From holiness.
The world that they've invented 
Is a dream of isolation,
Sustained by their imaginary fear 
Of loneliness.

Christ promised He would be with us 
Until this world was ended.
He sheds the light of truth where
Fear of solitude has grown.
His purpose is to rescue us from 
That which we imagine,
For who can live in loneliness when 
He is not alone?

The light of truth does not attack our world 
Of false perceptions,
But shines away the shadows of illusion 
Where it hides.
Since He is with us always, let us 
Rise above deceptions,
Acknowledging forever that we live 
Where He abides.

How glorious and gracious is the world 
That we've forgiven.
How free of guilt the knowledge that 
We’ll never be alone.
The light of truth dispels our dreams 
With evidence of heaven. 
And Christly vision teaches us to know 
As we are known.
